The young singer was just fifteen years old. It was a very difficult time for Mitchell and her song Angel on her debut album was composed specifically for Angela. Mitchell also spoke about her experience in Chicken Soup, for Preteen Souls and 7th Heaven: Nothing Endures But Change.
